Transfer to Halkidiki by ferry
There is no direct connection between Halkidiki and a ship from another region. The ships go only to Thessaloniki and leave from there. To get to Halkidiki, you need to get a bus from Thessaloniki. Thessaloniki is connected all the time with Piraeus, Lemnos, Mytilene, Chios, Rhodes, Kos, Samos, Mykonos, Paros, Santorini, Syros, Tinos, Skiathos and Heraklion (Crete ). In summer, Thessaloniki is also connected by boat with Alonnisos, Skiathos, Skopelos, Naxos and Volos. The flying dolphins link Neos Marmaras to Pefkohori, Porto Carras, Thessaly and Sporades (Alonissos, Skiathos, Skopelos). Hydrofoils connect Nea Moudania with Thessaloniki, Sporades and Thessaly (Agios Ioannis and Horefto). The flying dolphins connect Porto Carras with Neos Marmaras, Pefkohori and Sporades.
Transfer to Halkidiki by bus
The main means of transfer in Thessaloniki is the bus. There are many and often buses running all over Thessaloniki, so moving will be easy.
